In the limelight of Micromax A 240 Canvas 5 , New Doodle has shown its presence in news. Despite the not so good response from Micromax A 111 Canvas Doodle , Micromax is pushing hard to place themselves in phablet category. Micromax's this attempt is directly competing with Samsung's Mega series phablets.
The original Doodle was not heavily packed and lacked many basic configurations like Low RAM , Lower Resolution display , Lower internal storage. Canvas Doodle 2 is an attempt to overcome all those shortcoming and will strengthen the Micromax's dominance in Phablet category.
A reliable source- MMX Newscaster has leaked snaps of the upcoming Doodle 2.
From the pics , the Doodle 2 looks familiar with Canvas HD and share same form factor.
SIM tray is fitted at the top and it supports Dual SIM too. It feels the back cover will be non removable thus can not be used for replacing new battery in case.
Primary Camera of the device seems to be 12 MP with LED flash. We are expecting the camera should be taken from Sony and should have BSI sensor that gives beautiful picture quality.
The screen size of the Canvas Doodle seems a massive one , above pic shows the size difference between Canvas Doodle and Canas 4. From above , it gives a direct feeling of screen size above 5.5 inch or may be of 6"Inchs.
We hope , Micromax will give some good resolution screen here compared to the Canvas Doodle's 480*854 pixels.
In terms of hardware , MMX Newscaster has published a pic showing the quadrant results of 3964 which is near to Micromax Canvas 4's 4083. It gives us a feeling of using same Quadcore MediaTek 6589 chipset.
Final announcement is still pending and after that only confirmed specs will be taken out.
