Micromax A 240 Canvas 5 , Is this the Flagship ?

Before the launch of Micromax A 210 Canvas 4 , Predictions were made that this will be the Flagship device of Micromax. Tech enthusiast expected the features that will make this device as Flagship for the year, but lack of Full HD display , 1 GB of RAM , Same Battery power and same Quad Core processor made the device just an upgrade over Canvas HD. But Micromax has something more in there bag. This time , the same search for a flagship device has started. As per sources , Micromax is planning to unveil their latest offering in Canvas series, stating as Canvas 5. 

Rumors are still the same those were at the time of Canvas 4 , We are still expecting a FHD 1080p display , a 5"inch or above display (This time , it can be of a phablet size ranging between 5.5 to 5.7" Inch display) , 2 GB of RAM , Octa core processor or atleast a Quadcore Mediatek Next generation 6589T and definitely a Big battery. Device will come on Jelly bean 4.3 or 4.2 operating system.

Recently Micromax has launched Canvas 4 , which is still out of market because of high demand.
The Phone has brought many new features to this price bracket of 15-20 K for eg : premium finish aluminium unibody , 13 MP sony BSI sensor Primary Camera , Blow air to unlock device , Vertical Panorama , smart pause , multi window and many other. The New Canvas 5 would be having all these features along with the hardware upgrade.


The unibody design was highly appreciated by the people and now our expectation is to see much better feel. Major upgradation is expected in term of Battery capacity. This time , we are expecting the battery should be of 2600 mAh and that will give enough juice to last for a day with above average use.
Primary Camera of the device will be same that we have seen in Canvas 4 (with sony BSI sensor), front camera might get upgraded to a 5MP FHD snapper.

One important expected software change will be addition of Real time language translation. Key person of Micromax has stated in an Interview that there main focus is now on software and they are working on a software that will automatically change the language in which user want to listen in real time.
Well, this seems a cool upgrade but have to find out - how good this feature work in real scenario and upto what level.
